Reconciliation
Reconciliation is an encounter with Jesus who forgives us and brings healing. Baptized Catholics are able to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation once they have reached "the age of reason," usually about Second Grade. Children should be enrolled in Faith Formation classes to help them understand the Sacrament and to prepare. Older children and adolescents who haven't made their First Reconciliation will be asked to participate in formation classes. Adults who need to make their First Reconciliation will be asked to participate in RCIA. Please contact the Office with any questions you may have.
Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish offers opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Saturday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Church, or by appointment.
